The first ‘Rajiv Internet village’ in India is Chiluvuru, a village in Andhra Pradesh, which was inaugurated by Chief Minister on August 20, 2004. It is called internet village, because it has high speed broadband internet connection, besides also the villagers who already tune-in with the internet technology to increase their quality of life.

It is the idea of Chiluvuru born entrepreneur named Dave Katragadda, to develop his birthplace. Under Dave Katragadda foundation, he makes it real; the soft skills trained people and internet access as a bridge to other technologies so that their lives will be upgraded.

As a high educated person, Dave Katragadda has high attention to education quality, for then he funds Jawahar Knowledge Centers in Andhra Pradesh, which emphasizes the importance of additional soft skills for students so that it can help them getting better life.
