Compare to air conditioner which is energy consumptive and is not environmentally friendly, ceiling fan is far better. Maybe their prices are relatively the same in range, but the operation for the ceiling fans need lower electricity than air conditioners do, and also regular refrigerants filling or the air conditioner ...
